The Supporters Programme runs for 2 ½ days over a 3-week period. The programme is for family members, friends, neighbours, work colleagues or anyone who is supporting someone who is struggling with their mental health. It teaches supporters practical skills participants can use to support others, it gives information on what supports are available and how they can be accessed, and teaches practical ways of looking after your own mental health.
The programme is offered at a cost of €75 per participant for the entire 2.5 day programme, which includes 2 facilitators on each day, all programme materials, tea/ coffee and lunch on days 1 and 2. We are happy to discuss a reduction in the fee if cost is a difficulty for you. We receive funding for these programmes through our fantastic funders the National Office for Suicide Prevention, the Iris O’Brien Foundation and our own fundraisers, which allows us to deliver the programme at a significantly reduced cost.
