HSE Worklink North West - STEPs Programme


HSE Worklink Northwest will be delivering its STEPs towards wellbeing and planning for the future programme in Donegal Town, commencing on March 11th.

The is a vocational training programme for people recovering from mental ill health.

The aim of this programme is to provide flexible, supportive training opportunities to people who are unemployed and are in recovery from mental ill health. It aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing through personal development, connecting with others and community inclusion. A person-centred support plan is developed to achieve personal goals and make plans for the future.

Funded by HSE Donegal Mental Health Services and Donegal Education and Training Board, the programme will run for three days per week from 10am to 4pm for 42 weeks. 

Upon completion of the programme participants are awarded with a QQI Level 3 / 2 major award in general learning.
