During my struggle with mental health issues, my friend - who was big into mindfulness - suggested we both write down our problems. (Because who doesn't have a little bump in the road?)

Tape these problems to a balloon and let them go...

Just writing them down felt as if a weight had been lifted and seeing them go away was helpful. It was also nice to get out with a friend.

A good cup of tea and a long chat with a friend is also a huge stepping stone to recovery.
